About The College
Welcome to Calman College, a Specialist Independent 16-25 college providing further education for autistic young adults with additional learning disabilities and complex needs. We benefit from a large 20-acre site with a functional learning hub offering catering, horticulture, creative arts, and animal husbandry. We offer bespoke programmes for learners at our college in Thorney, near Peterborough.

About You
As a Learning Support Assistant (LSA), you will be an integral part of the Calman College family. Your daily duties may include:
* Building strong, meaningful relationships with students and adapting to their learning styles
* Supporting the Class Tutor and reviewing student progress
* Implementing programmes devised by a multidisciplinary team, including therapists and psychologists
* Supporting access to curriculum and vocational activities to ensure positive outcomes
* Contributing to students' development through healthy lifestyle activities
* Supporting communication skill development using appropriate methods
* Facilitating work experience and volunteering opportunities onsite and in the community
Working Week
This role is Monday to Friday during term time.
