Amazon.com operates in a global eCommerce environment without boundaries, and operates a diverse set of businesses, including Retail, third party marketplaces, eCommerce platforms, web services for developers. Amazon's Global Stores (GS) provide customers access to Amazon’s worldwide selection with a localized search and browse experience, convenient local payment options, end-to-end delivery solutions and access to native customer service on the local Amazon marketplace. GS simplifies the cross-border shopping process by clearing customs on the customer’s behalf and by guaranteeing that the customer will not have to pay any additional duties and import fees beyond what is shown at checkout. RBS AGS team shares Global Store (GS)’s vision to empower customers to “Stay Local, Shop Global” with an objective to improve GS customer experience and maximize the revenue potential of GS ASINs by fixing cross-listing, Buyability, discoverability and detail page conversion defects at scale.
Responsibilities
* Translates basic business problem statements into analysis requirements based on dive deep and understanding of the program
* Define analytical approach
* Own the outcome, present updates and communicate milestones in a structured manner with customers/Business partners across Amazon
* Influence business leaders and tech teams by using data and anecdotes on size, scale, complexity and impact
* Provide functional inputs and contribute to PRFAQ
Basic Qualifications
* 3+ years of business analyst, data analyst or similar role experience
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent
* Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
* Experience with SQL
* Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in customer segmentation, customer behavior analysis, conjoint/trade-off modeling
* Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
