Perform servicing, adjustments, and repairs on vehicles to manufacturer standards, ensuring quality workmanship
Utilise recognised diagnostic tools for fault analysis and resolution
Road test vehicles to verify repairs and identify underlying issues
Identify, observe, and report vehicle defects and imminent failures
Support reassembly and recharging of components, with accurate cost estimation and record-keeping
Maintain and update technical and service documentation accurately and comprehensivelyRequirements:
NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Mechanics, City & Guilds, or equivalent
Proven experience working as a Vehicle Technician on light commercial vehicles and transit vans
MOT testing qualification is highly desirable
Full UK driving licence and personal tools suitable for vehicle repairs
Minimum two years’ experience in a main dealership or similar environment
