As Head of Credit Risk Decision Systems, reporting to the Group Head of Credit Risk Strategy, this role will work alongside Portfolio Leads and the wider business to develop and implement credit strategies through PowerCurve. You will also collaborate with other functions of the business, including existing Delivery Teams, to identify, drive, and support the effective delivery of credit strategies to achieve OSB Group's goals and objectives. The role has the flexibility to be based in Wolverhampton or London.
What you will be doing
As Head of Credit Risk Decision Systems, you will build, test, and implement Credit Risk Strategies through scalable, standardised, and effective code using Experian PowerCurve for Origination (PCO) / Strategy Design Studio (SDS) to support credit decision automation and real-time application decisioning across the UK within the Credit Risk Team. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Developing new strategies and enhancing existing ones using Strategy Design Studio (SDS) for multiple business portfolios, acting as SME, providing expertise and support across business and technical solutions.
2. Implementing and maintaining a strong governance and risk control framework in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Group Risk Management policies, and standards.
3. Providing insights, recommendations, and support related to Credit Risk Decision Systems and Technical Requirements.
4. Defining, planning, and implementing business requirements through Experian PowerCurve for Origination (PCO).
5. Leading and delivering credit strategy decision system components, including designing effective reusable components to improve development productivity and drive cost savings.

Minimum requirements
* Extensive experience developing, building, and implementing credit or collections strategies in PowerCurve for Origination/Decisioning systems.
* Proficiency in SQL and Java.
* In-depth knowledge of PowerCurve for Originations and Credit Risk decisioning systems, ID & V, Affordability, and Lending Applications.
* Strong data analysis skills with the ability to communicate findings clearly to various audiences.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
