A welcoming Croydon primary school is seeking a confident and experienced Year 6 Teacher to join their team from Monday 27th April until the end of the academic year. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong classroom practitioner who thrives in upper Key Stage 2 and can quickly establish high expectations for learning and behaviour.
The successful candidate will take full responsibility for a Year 6 class and will play a key role in supporting pupils during an important stage of their primary education.
The role requires a teacher who:
* Has strong behaviour management skills and can maintain a calm, purposeful learning environment
* Demonstrates excellent knowledge of the Year 6 curriculum, including preparation for end-of-Key-Stage expectations
* Can deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that support progress for all learners
* Is confident using assessment to inform teaching and close learning gaps
* Builds positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
* Works well as part of a supportive staff team

Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
