Hours: 37 hours per week

Salary: £26, - £26, p.a. (Without LGV Licence)
£27, - £29, p.a. (With LGV Licence)
Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: Road and winter maintenance duties as directedDriving and operating various LGV road and winter maintenance vehicles including snow ploughs / gritting vehiclesOperation of various road maintenance related plant and machinery

Requirements
Commitment to undertake associated formalised regular training and certification as required and learn new skills (e.g. Street Works SWQR, Traffic Management, SVQ Winter Maintenance, CPCS Plant Operators Qualification, Chainsaw Certification)
Possession of Driving Licence for LGV, Category C and C+E
However, if the applicant has other attributes to offer the council in relation to roads maintenance then training may be given to assist the applicant in gaining their LGV licence (see additional info at end of documentation)
