They are currently looking for aCredit Controller to join their friendly and professional team. This is a vital role that supports the financial stability of our organisation, working closely with tenants to manage rental and non-rental payments with empathy, efficiency, and fairness.
Key Responsibilities for Credit Controller
* Monitor and manage rent and non-rent arrears
* Communicate proactively with tenants regarding payments and arrears
* Negotiate realistic payment plans where needed
* Maintain accurate financial records and reports
* Collaborate with departments such as Lettings, Accounts, and Maintenance
* Ensure all activity is compliant with relevant legislation
* Educate tenants on budgeting and financial management
* Provide clear, timely updates to management through reporting
Essential
* Experienced in credit control, property management, or financial services (2+ years preferred)
* Organised, reliable, and meticulous with your records
* A natural communicator with strong negotiation skills
* Empathetic and solution-focused, even in challenging conversations
* Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
* Confident using Microsoft Office Suite and Google Sheets
