Position: Group Engineering Resource Manager
Location: Any UK Site

Position Summary:
We are seeking a Group Engineering Resource Manager to oversee capacity planning, project resource alignment, and system development across Group Engineering. The role involves strategic decision-making support, resource demand analysis, and skills gap identification. Ideal candidates are organized, analytical, and collaborative.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and train engineering planning and project management systems.
* Manage the engineering resource pool, onboarding/offboarding staff and contractors.
* Organize IT equipment, software licenses, and logins.
* Negotiate with external resource providers.
* Report on resource capacity, skills, and demand.
* Maintain skills profiles and identify gaps based on demand forecasts.
* Conduct scenario planning for resource demand and project impacts.
* Communicate insights and recommendations regularly.
* Support business rationale for resource capacity and external capacity.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Preferably a qualification in business management, engineering, data analysis, or contract negotiation.
* Excellent communication, influencing, and analytical skills.
* Reliable with a can-do attitude and perseverance.
* Experience in resource and project management is essential.
* Knowledge of contract management of professional services.
* Experience in project management, business processes, and KPI reporting.
