Purpose of thejob
To work within theInsurance Division and provide support to help deliver theInsurance Strategy. Specifically the role will assist in deliveringfinancial insight improving finance processes reporting andpreparation of quarterly forecasts and annualbudgets.
The role is critical to aiding thestreamlining of both routine and adhoc reporting requirements andreports to the Senior Commercial Finance BusinessPartner
To support the commercial finance andbusiness partnering deliverables team and be a key contributor toevolving finance as a trusted partner to the business forCollinson.
KeyResponsibilities
* Toprepare monthly reporting of the Insurance result includinganalysis of key variances and identification of risks andopportunities.
* To help produce quarterlyforecasts and annual budgets submitting on time to Group Financeonce approved.
* Gain knowledge of loading andreporting in the consolidated Group Inforsystem.
* Help deliver the Commercial FinanceTeams goal of implementing its own bespoke budgeting softwareTagetik
* Assist with driving profitable growthacross the Division
* Among other regularmonthend reports the production of monthly financial KPIdashboards
* Assist in providing scenariomodelling commercial pricing support and analysis to support clientpropositions and business decisions.
* Ad hocsupport / analysis whererequired
Knowledgeskills and experiencerequired
* GoodCommunication skills both written and oral
* Strong IT skills Intermediate/Advanced Excel
* ACCA/CIMA part qualified / University Graduate preferablyMaths
* Experience of SAPpreferred
* Has to be a selfstarter inquisitiveand happy to work independently whenrequired
* Ability to work under pressure tostrict deadlines and deliver results.
