Overview
UHBW are looking to recruit experienced Band 5 nurses into the Emergency Department. As a tertiary cardiac centre, the ED team are a supportive, hard‑working and talented department – a great opportunity to further your skills in a busy and fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care needs from admission to timely transfer or discharge.
Work as part of the nursing team & MDT to ensure safe, efficient patient flow and management.
Develop skills to become responsible and accountable for the total patient care of a critically ill patient or group of patients.
Act as professional role model/team leader setting standards of practice promoting clinical effectiveness and opportunities for teaching others as part of a 24‑hour service.
