The Role

As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will:

1. Safeguard and promote the wellbeing of young people in our care throughout the night.
2. Supporting with night-time routines, manage incidents should they occur
3. Provide through handover to the day shift.
4. Support with daily routines, household tasks, and meal preparation.
5. Encourage participation in community activities, and hobbies.
6. Transport young people to school, medical appointments, and activities.
7. Act as a positive role model, setting clear boundaries and building trust.
8. Liaise with other professionals like social workers and therapists to ensure the physical and emotional needs are met.
9. Help young people develop life skills, including managing finances.
10. Maintain accurate records and paperwork.
11. Work flexibly rotating onto weekends, bank holidays.
12. Be able to work 5 nights on, 5 off from 9pm to 8am

16. Willingness to work towards QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare (fully funded).

Important Information

32. Drivers with a full UK licence are essential
33. We cannot offer sponsorship.
34. Contracts are 40 hours per week
