Job Summary
The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant. In this role, you will work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. You will be a key player in driving customer success, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
* Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
* Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
* Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies
* Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
* Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts
Basic Qualifications
* 8+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience
* Experience managing and delivering large-scale enterprise IT projects
* Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements (e.g. security, privacy, SOX, HIPAA, etc.)
* Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies
* Experience architecting or deploying cloud/virtualization solutions in enterprise customers
* Experience with software development lifecycle, or experience in agile/scrum or related collaborative workflow
Preferred Qualifications
* Degree in advanced technology, or AWS Professional level certification
* Knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies
* Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR
* Experience implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments
* Experience managing executive customer relationships and key business stakeholders
* Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (like TOGAF, Zachman) and identifying relationships between business services, information, applications, and global infrastructure assets
