The Dee is one of the UK’s most biodiverse rivers and a vital source of drinking water, wildlife habitat and cultural identity for the communities it flows through. We deliver practical, evidence-based projects that tackle pollution, restore habitats, support sustainable land management and involve local people in caring for their river. Partnership is central to our approach, and we collaborate closely with farmers, landowners, communities, government agencies and other environmental organisations. We are a growing organisation with a clear long-term vision. Our current strategy sets ambitious goals for habitat restoration, water quality improvements and community involvement, and we are building the capacity to deliver this work at scale.
