Andy File Associates Limited is working as a Recruitment Agency on behalf of our client with regards this permanent position.\nRole Overview\nThis role is Birmingham based carrying out EICR’s, PAT Testing, Fire Alarm Inspections, Emergency Lighting Inspections. The work will be a combination of Planned & Reactive Maintenance along with Remedial Works and general works installations. The role will primarily be working across our Hospitality, Retail and Leisure clients.\n*Please note that you must hold the following essential qualifications and a Full UK Driving License to apply for this role.\n18th Edition, NVQ Level 3, AM2 and City & Guilds 2391 (Essential) Inspection & Testing Experience (Essential)\nJob Description\n * Provide Planned and Reactive Electrical Maintenance across multiple sites & sectors\n * Deliver Planned Preventative Maintenance, Reactive Repairs and Installation works across various asset types such as but not limited to:- - Lighting systems - Electrical Distribution Boards & Associated Circuits - Fire & Intruder Alarm systems - Pumps, Motors and associated Control systems - Building Management Systems - PAT Testing - HVAC systems - EV systems\n * Fault finding and repairs on electrical equipment & systems\n * Carry out alterations, installations and electrical testing in accordance with specification and legislation\n * Responding promptly and positively to reactive call requests from our Helpdesk Team Provide On-call Service as part of a call-out rota\n * Compilation of quotes for installation & repairs works; specifically outlining the quantities of materials and labour times required\n * Identify non-repairable issues and promptly advise the Contract Manager of findings and recommendations\n * Required to travel to various locations in order to fulfil their allocated task\n * Follow instructions from Line Manager regarding scheme and scope of works\n * Carry out tasks in accordance with the Service Level Agreements (SLAs)\n * Monitor and update the CAFM system\n * Liaise with our Health and Safety Forum and Human Resource to engage with Learning and Development in accordance with Site Safety Regulations; keeping them up to date as required\n * Look to Sustainably use resources/materials and recycle where possible\n * Always represent the company in a professional and positive manner to internal and external personnel\n * Any other duties which are required by the business and within the scope of the role\nPersonal Specification\nYou must be a qualified electrician with 18th Edition, NVQ Level 3, AM2 and City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing\nPrevious experience in Electrical Maintenance & Installation\nAbility to maintain and repair a range of electrical systems to recognised standards whilst working with minimum supervision\nAbility to repair and maintain a range of equipment\nApplication of their vocational experience to the benefit of the business\nAbility to use own initiative, working accurately with policies and procedures\nPrioritise workload and meet deadlines\nGood written and verbal communication skills\nPC literate\nFull Driving License\nCustomer focused\nSelf-motivated and flexible in your approach to work\nGood problem-solving skills\nWork carried out to a high-quality standard\nPackage\n * Salary; £38.513 per annum which includes an on-call payment of £1950 per annum for being On-call 1 week in 4\n * Overtime paid at 1.5 x hourly rate (time and a half) after 37.5 hours worked\n * Normal hours will be 08:00 – 16:00, from Monday to Friday\n * 30 minutes travel time each way per day in their own time\n * Company Van provided by the company\n * Uniform & PPE provided by the company\nBenefits\nHoliday Entitlement 31 days, including Bank Holidays.
