The Role
As a Majestic Assistant Manager, you will support your Store Manager in driving sales and managing daily store operations. You’ll deliver exceptional customer experiences, optimize KPI performance, and maintain high operational standards. You will also mentor junior team members to help them reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support your Store Manager in store performance and operations, taking responsibility in their absence.
* Drive sales by maximizing opportunities and improving KPIs to exceed targets.
* Deliver outstanding customer service to foster loyalty and repeat business.
* Offer personalized VIP concierge services, including product updates and tastings.
* Promote our products through in-depth knowledge, tasting events, and engaging displays.
* Assist in recruiting, managing, and developing the team, including supporting their product knowledge and WSET qualifications.
* Ensure the store’s appearance and maintenance meet standards, reporting issues promptly.
* Identify operational improvements and ensure compliance with policies and safety regulations.
* Communicate store, regional, and company updates effectively.
Knowledge & Skills Required:
* Experience in retail or hospitality, working in fast-paced, target-driven environments.
* Ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
* Understanding of retail KPIs and strategies to improve them.
* Strong problem-solving skills under pressure.
* Self-motivated, capable of working independently and in teams.
* Excellent communication and time management skills.
* WSET Level 2 qualification is essential; willingness to attain Level 3 for career progression.
* Full UK/EU/EEA driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.
