Main roles and responsibilities:
* Participate in planning and staff meetings.
* Teach all pupils in your class according to the National Curriculum.
* Adapt lessons to meet the specific needs of each child.
* Complete records and assessments as per school policy.
* Utilize ICT to enhance learning.
* Organize and label resources appropriately.
* Engage pupils in self and peer assessments.
* Use diverse teaching methods to maintain high standards of learning and behaviour.
* Attend assessment, progression, and development meetings, as well as parent evenings.
* Build positive relationships with parents.
* Prepare pupils for the next academic year.
* Coordinate with other teachers regarding pupil needs.
* Operate within school policies.
* Lead classes through lectures, demonstrations, and discussions.
* Assign homework to reinforce skills.
Key skills and requirements:
* Currently studying your PGCE (ECT only).
* Experience in KS1 and KS2.
* Good understanding of the curriculum and behaviour management.
* Reliable and punctual.
* IT competent.
* Professional appearance and demeanor.
