Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated PBS Practice Lead to join our community hub team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the organisation's core operations and ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of services.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high‑quality, person‑centred behavioural support across services.
* Respond to referrals in a timely and prioritised manner.
* Conduct functional assessments.
* Collaboratively develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans with support teams and families.
Requirements
* Strong understanding of the values and ethos of PBS, person‑centred approaches, Active Support, and Total Communication.
* Deep knowledge of the needs of adults with learning disabilities and autism.
* Ability to construct and implement PBS plans using functional assessment tools.
* Knowledge of Physical Intervention Accredited Training and legislation related to restrictive practices.
* Experience directly supporting adults with learning disabilities and/or autism.
* Skilled in completing functional assessments and developing implementable PBS plans that are easy for support teams to understand and follow.
