We are seeking a skilled Mobile Electrician to join our team, delivering a world-class and consistent building maintenance service across Teesside and County Durham.
This role is essential in ensuring our stakeholders receive reliable, high-quality electrical and building services support.
Job Description
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for providing electrical and building services engineering maintenance to a variety of client properties within the designated region.
Your work will include fault finding, repairs, maintenance, and installation, covering electrical PPMs, reactive tasks, and associated mechanical and fabric duties.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out electrical PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within agreed timeframes to exceed customer expectations.
* Undertake additional building services maintenance tasks, including fabric, HVAC, and mechanical duties.
* Provide callout response as per the rota, ensuring timely and professional service.
* Perform contractor control duties, including monitoring workmanship and issuing Permits to Work.
* Ensure all electrical equipment operates to specified performance criteria and company standards.
* Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
* Represent the company professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.
* Complete inspection, testing, and installation tasks as required across client properties.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
* City & Guilds Level 2
* City & Guilds 18th Edition
* Ideally City & Guilds Inspection & Testing (2391 or 2394/5)
* Full UK Driving Licence
Experience:
* Significant experience in electrical building services maintenance, including fault finding, installation, and inspection/testing.
* Proven track record in reactive and PPM maintenance within commercial properties.
* Background in Facilities Management (FM).
Additional Info: Some Saturday work required (approximately 1 in 2 weekends), paid at 1.5x rate.
