Our Story
At Knoops, we’re
experts in crafting the perfect chocolate drink for our customers. Our founder
Jens Knoop opened the first store in Rye in 2013. Now we have a growing estate
of stores, a production factory and a growing online business.
The Knoops concept is
based around our carefully curated percentage menu which offers chocolates to
suit every taste and mood. We find joy in helping you to discover your perfect
chocolate drink and encourage experimentation with different % chocolates and
flavours in a process we call ‘Knoopology’.
This process is
simple; choose your chocolate %, milk, and extra flavours like sea salt, orange
zest or chilli to be made into a hot chocolate, milkshake or iced chocolate.
The Opportunity
Do you have strong
leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer
experiences? At Knoops, we are dedicated to creating expertly crafted beverages
and fostering a vibrant café atmosphere. We're seeking a motivated Supervisor
to support the daily operations and inspire our barista team to consistently
deliver excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Support: Assist in overseeing
daily operations, ensuring that the café runs efficiently and that customers
receive outstanding service.
Leadership & Guidance: Act as the shift
lead, supporting and motivating the barista team to meet service and quality
expectations.
Customer Engagement: Create positive
guest experiences, handle customer queries, and resolve issues with
professionalism and care.
Quality Control: Maintain Knoops’ high standards for beverage
preparation, café cleanliness, and food safety.
Team Development: Support new team members through training
and ensure everyone upholds operational and brand standards.
What We’re Looking For:
Café or Retail Experience: Experience in a
customer-facing environment, ideally within the café or hospitality industry.
Leadership Potential: A natural motivator
who enjoys guiding and supporting a team.
Customer Service Focus: Passionate about
creating exceptional guest experiences.
Organized & Efficient: Able to handle busy
periods with calmness and precision.
