Trainee Parts Advisor Needed – New job just in!!
My client is a Main dealership looking to recruit a Trainee Parts Advisor.
Salary: Minimum wage, depending on age.
Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
Location: Southampton
Working within a busy department, you will focus on delivering a modern and efficient parts service. The main priority will be to maintain high service levels to the Workshop to ensure Technicians remain productive, and to attend to Retail counter customers.
* Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm with a ½ hour unpaid lunch break each day
* Salary: Negotiable hourly rate paid monthly
* Benefits: 20 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays. Holidays increase with service. Nest Pension
* On-the-job training, e-learning, and external training courses where necessary
Trainee Parts Advisor Role:
* Deliver exceptional customer service
* Identify customer needs for parts through conversations, diagnosis, and recommendations
* Locate and order parts for busy sales and service departments
* Be fully familiar with procedures within the parts department
* Liaise with suppliers and maintain good relationships
* Receive, record, and allocate parts and consumables from suppliers
* Communicate promotions and offers to customers
* Follow warranty parts procedures
* Perform weekly parts stock checks
* Report stock damages or losses
* Follow procedures for returning parts to suppliers
* Maintain parts department and storage areas daily and weekly
As a Trainee Parts Advisor, You Should:
* Have knowledge of the geographical area
* Present professionally
* Possess customer service skills, both written and verbal
* Be physically able to lift appropriate items (subject to legal limitations)
