JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a Cluster Senior Sales Manager responsible for proactive business development and account management of corporate groups, meetings & events, and business transient segments. In this role, you will uncover new customers, foster long-term relationships, and deliver exceptional customer service with a solutions-focused approach.
As a key driver of revenue growth, you will bring a strategic mindset, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to identify and manage complex new opportunities and create tailored solutions that exceed client expectations.
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
6. Identifies and pursues new business opportunities for all five Cluster Hotels, generating leads within the corporate segment across group, catering, and business transient.
7. Develops and strengthens relationships with existing accounts to foster long term partnerships and ensure repeat business.
8. Takes ownership of deployed segment and drives innovative new initiatives to generate enquiries and increase enquiry conversion.
9. Work in alignment with the hotels’ strategic priorities, ensuring sales efforts support overall business goals.
10. Collaborates with the cluster team, hotel teams and wider sales teams (such as Area and Global Sales) on client activity to maximise client engagement.
11. Organises and conducts site inspections and FAM trips; arranges client meetings and activity.
12. Maintains clear communication with hotels and stakeholders on sales activity, progress and results.
13. Supports Groups & Events Team with enquiry closure by leveraging experience and expertise of the corporate segment.
14. Attends networking and industry events; monitors local, national and international business outlook to deepen knowledge of deployed segments and wider hotel strategies.
15. Supports enquiry process and contracts for complex bookings, providing tailored solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations.
16. Creates and executes strategic account plans to achieve hotel and individual goals.
17. Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with multiple stakeholders across diverse teams and functions
18. Maintains accurate and up to date account data and reporting
19. Adapts to evolving business conditions and leads tasks and projects assigned by management.

23. This is a hotel based role; location is driven by client appointments and visibility across the five London Cluster hotels.

24. Strong communication skills with a confident communication style across different channels (face-to-face, telephone, e-mail, intermediary websites
25. Excellent selling skills and understanding of sales processes from enquiry generation through to contract
26. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to problem-solve and seek solutions
27. Ability to up-sell products and services and can bring a sale to closure
28. Outstanding relationship management skills; ability to develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders and associates
29. Demonstrates tenacity and resilience in business development, consistently seeking new opportunities
30. Skilled in implementing successful sales strategies and executing account plans for multiple hotels
31. Proven experience of corporate group, catering and transient business sales
32. Highly organised with excellent time management skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
33. Demonstrates strong leadership qualities and sound decision-making skills to drive results
34. Understands revenue management principles and account profitability
35. Proficient in standard software applications and hotel systems
