What You’ll Be Doing • Delivering engaging, differentiated English lessons across KS3 and KS4 to students with social, emotional, or behavioural challenges. • Focusing on literacy, communication, and functional skills, alongside GCSE preparation where appropriate. • Building strong, positive relationships that support students’ confidence, resilience, and motivation. • Working closely with support staff, parents, and external agencies to create tailored learning plans. • Contributing to the PRU’s wider ethos of care, respect, and inclusion. Who You Are • A qualified English Teacher (QTS/QTLS) with experience teaching KS3 and KS4. • Confident supporting students with SEMH, behavioural needs, or SEND. • Calm, patient, and able to de-escalate situations with empathy and consistency. • Creative and adaptable in your teaching approach. • Passionate about helping learners re-engage with education and achieve success.
