Job overview

We have a unique opportunity for a Patient Pathway Coordinator to be part of a passionate, professional, and dedicated team focused on creating a positive journey for all patients within our service.

The work is fast-paced and challenging but rewarding. Our experienced colleagues will provide robust training to help you develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to succeed in this role.

We support your personal development through regular meetings and an annual appraisal, guiding you to available training courses and support.

Person specification


Knowledge Requirements

* Computer literate with high accuracy keyboard skills
* Knowledge of NHS or similar service provider
* Thorough understanding of healthcare administrative systems and processes
* Experience with databases, spreadsheets (e.g., PAS, Excel)
* Understanding of confidentiality and data protection
* Knowledge of equality and diversity principles
* Sound office clerical background familiar with relevant procedures
* Experience with IT/patient data systems relevant to the specialty


Qualifications (Academic/Professional)

* GCSE English at grade C or above (or equivalent)
* RSA II or equivalent
* AMSPAR diploma or similar
* NVQ in Customer Care
* IHRIM Diploma
* European Computer Driving Licence
* Shorthand speed of 80wpm


Further Training

* On-the-job training
* Supervisory training
* Health & safety management experience


Experience

* Providing quality customer service
* Previous NHS experience
* Supervising staff


Contractual Requirements

* Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
