Job Title: Trainee Mortgage Adviser
We now have an additional opportunity to join the UK's leading new homes mortgage provider as a Trainee Mortgage Adviser and start a long-term career in Financial Services.
Location:
During the training period, which is expected to last 24 months, you will be based full-time at our new offices in Colchester. Once your training is complete and you have obtained your full CeMAP qualifications, you will be promoted to a full-time, home-based Mortgage and Protection Adviser.
Target:
Candidates with a strong desire to work within the Financial Services arena, with a demonstrable track record in customer service and/or sales.
Year One Rewards:
1. During the first 6 months, you will receive a guaranteed salary of £25,000, which will then reduce to a basic salary of £23,000 after 6 months.
2. With a generous commission and benefits package, the first-year OTE is realistically achievable at £28K-£32K.
3. Overtime opportunities are regularly available and paid at £150 per day.
After 12 Months:
Your OTE will increase to £35K-£40K, with overtime paid at £170 per day.
After 24 Months:
You will have the opportunity to become a fully CeMAP-qualified, home-based Mortgage Adviser, with a basic salary of up to £35K and an expected OTE of £70K.
CeMAP Support:
We will provide full financial support to gain CeMAP Mortgage Adviser qualifications, including study materials and all exam entry costs.
Working Hours:
Working a 4-week rotating rota, including early and late shifts, with every other weekend required.
Main Purpose Of The Role
During your training, you will make and receive calls to customers referred by our national house-builder clients, record their details, complete fact finds, research lenders' affordability and criteria, and arrange appointments with our Mortgage Advisers.
Required Knowledge, Skills, And Qualifications
* A strong desire to work within the Financial Services Industry, particularly mortgages and protection.
* A proven track record in customer service and sales.
* Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex information simply.
* Organized, disciplined, and structured in your approach.
* Proficient in IT, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* Full driving license and access to own vehicle to commute to our offices as required.
