JDR Recruitment (Mansfield) are partnering with a leading manufacturer in Kirkby-in-Ashfield to recruit experienced Production Operatives to join their team. These roles are temporary‑to‑permanent opportunities, offering a permanent contract after successful completion of training (based on performance, attendance, and conduct).
Key Responsibilities:
* Operating machinery and equipment in line with production requirements
* Handling and mixing raw materials according to strict safety protocols
* Monitoring production processes and recording data
* Performing quality checks and reporting any issues
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
* Following all health, safety, and environmental regulations
* Running the line/covering supervisor as and when needed
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a chemical or manufacturing environment preferred
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
* Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
* Physically fit and able to work in a demanding environment - some heavy lifting will be required of up to 25kg
Working hours: Monday - Thursday 7.00am - 3.30pm, Friday 7.00am - 2.30pm
Rate of Pay: £12.71 per hour
