Teaching Assistant Location: St Helens Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm Pay: £95-£105 per day Start Date: December We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join a very well-regarded SEN school in St Helens. You will be working in a 1 to 1 capacity with students who have complex additional needs, including PMLD, SLD, severe autism, and a small number of students have SEMH needs. This provision has excellent outdoor grounds, and the students engage in a variety of outdoor activities including walking, sports and horticulture. This school supports secondary aged students, catered towards the upper age brackets. Due to the nature of the students, you must be comfortable managing emotional dysregulation, challenging behaviour and personal care when needed. Your Role as a Teaching Assistant As a Teaching Assistant, you will: Provide classroom support across core subjects Work 1:1 with students.
