High-profile Site Director role within a precision aerospace manufacturing business. With full P&L accountability, you will lead all engineering, operations and support functions on site, driving operational excellence, cultural alignment and sustained performance through lean manufacturing principles.
The Opportunity
This is a visible, hands-on leadership role requiring both strategic oversight and deep operational engagement. As Site Director, you will:
* Take full ownership of site performance, delivering against OTIF, EBITDA and strategic objectives.
* Lead a multi-disciplinary Senior Leadership Team across operations, engineering, quality, supply chain and support functions.
* Drive a high-performance culture built on Lean principles, including SQDCP and Gemba.
* Ensure the highest standards of safety, quality and regulatory compliance across all activities.
* Oversee complex manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly and supply chain integration.
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimise efficiency, reduce cost and enhance output.
* Build strong relationships with key customers, supporting audits, reviews and strategic engagement.
* Champion data-driven decision making, using operational metrics to identify opportunities and drive results.
What You'll Bring
* Proven leadership success within complex manufacturing operations, at site or business unit level.
* Deep aerospace expertise, ideally with exposure to OEMs or Tier 1 supply chains.
* Strong knowledge of regulatory and quality standards including AS9100, NADCAP and associated frameworks.
* A track record of measurable improvements in operational performance and efficiency.
* Commercial acumen and the ability to connect operational decisions to financial outcomes.
* A data-driven mindset with the confidence to interpret and act on performance metrics.
* Inspiring leadership capability, with the credibility to engage and influence at all levels.
