What You'll Be Doing
As a Social Worker / Senior Practitioner within Children's Services, you will play a key role in safeguarding and improving outcomes for children and adolescents. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Undertaking statutory Child & Family Assessments
2. Managing a caseload of Children in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children
3. Developing, implementing, and reviewing care and support plans
4. Leading and contributing to multi-agency meetings and safeguarding processes
5. Assessing risk and ensuring timely interventions
6. Supporting and mentoring less experienced social workers (Senior Practitioner level)
7. Preparing reports and completing court work when required
8. Working collaboratively with families, partner agencies, and internal teams

What We're Looking For
13. Qualified Social Worker (Social Work England registered)
14. Experience working within Children's Services
15. Strong assessment, safeguarding, and decision-making skills
16. Ability to manage complex cases confidently
17. Senior Practitioner applicants should have experience supporting or guiding colleagues
