Group Buyer FMCG | Office-Based Craigavon I'm recruiting for a newly created Group Buyer role with a well-established packaging business. This senior-level position will lead procurement strategy and supplier management, with a focus on cost control, operational efficiency, and quality assurance. Key Responsibilities: Oversee bulk purchasing and negotiate favourable terms Manage supplier relationships to ensure consistent supply and service Track procurement KPIs and identify areas for cost savings Monitor market trends and adjust strategies accordingly Align purchasing activity with inventory needs and production timelines Maintain standards for quality, pricing, and delivery Requirements: Proven experience in a senior procurement or buying role, ideally within FMCG Strong negotiation and supplier management skills Degree on Business Management or similar Commercially minded with a data-driven approach Confident in forecasting, benchmarking, and contract management Effective communicator with solid organisational skills Role Details: Full-time, office-based: MonFri, 8:30am5:30pm UK travel required Salary dependent on experience If you have a strong track record in strategic buying and supplier performance, get in touch to discuss further.
