About the Role
Are you an experienced and proactive Facilities Team Leader looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a dedicated professional to oversee the comprehensive facilities services of our campus, ensuring a safe, compliant, and well-maintained environment.
Reporting to the Head of Facilities, you will be responsible for upholding the highest standards in building and ground appearance, managing a skilled team, and ensuring operational efficiency across all facilities functions.
About You:
You are a highly organised individual with a strong understanding of facilities management best practices, health & safety regulations, and team leadership. You possess excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
* Manage the on-site Facilities Team ensuring that the team are competent and motivated to carry out their daily tasks.
* To respond to incidents or emergencies as detailed by Facilities/College Line Management
* Manage the transport of stores, furniture and other equipment within and between buildings and any inter building deliveries.
* Manage the Contractor activities on Campus. Issuing Contractor site inductions, reviewing Risk Assessments, Method Statements, issue of Permits to Work as required and ensuring the Contractors adhere to the safe working practices.
* Manage the grounds maintenance activities carried out by the Facilities Operatives; cutting grass, weeding, leaf clearance, tidying borders/planters, clearing out trench drains, etc.
* Be responsible for ensuring the buildings and grounds are kept clean and clear of rubbish.
Requirements
You will need:
* Good general education to include Maths and English to level 2
* IOSH/NEBOSH Qualification or willingness to undertake.
* Management level 4 Qualification or willingness to undertake
* BTEC Level 3 in CCTV legislation or willingness to learn
* One day Emergency First Aid At Work course or willing to undertake
* Experience of working with a Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) system
* Previous experience of managing contractors and the supply chain.
