We are in an extremely exciting period of growth, with over 350+ events planned and 480,000+ entrants expected in 2026. As we expand our reach and continue to build our team, we are looking to appoint two Social Media & Marketing Executives for both our Surrey and Loughborough offices! The positions are focused on two different areas of the business, with one supporting initiatives across RunThrough Coach and retreats, and the other covering RunThrough’s global events!
The Role
This role is a creative, fast-paced position focused on producing engaging content that showcases the RunThrough brand and its events across social media and marketing channels. You will be responsible for capturing, creating, and publishing content that highlights the energy of our races, tells the stories of our community, and inspires runners to take part in events throughout the year.
Working closely with the marketing team, you will plan and produce a wide range of content from race-day footage and short-form videos to behind-the-scenes moments and campaign content, helping to grow our audience, increase engagement, and bring the RunThrough experience to life online.
Key Responsibilities
Creation of social media content both video and static
Email marketing including creation and management of emails across the RunThrough database
Content briefing and planning
Creation and delivery of partnership marketing initiatives
Collaborate with internal content, PR and marketing teams to support the overall function of the marketing department.
Keep all photo and video assets in Google Drive organised, ensuring easy access and high-quality content for all teams.
Social media posting and scheduling as needed.
Ensure brand representation is consistent across the various platforms.
Attend and support at events across London and the South.
Skills and Experience
Proven experience in marketing and social media content creation, ideally experienced working in a similar position.
Video/media editing experience.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
Experience using email marketing platforms.
Good communicator with the ability to build rapport quickly.
Experience using a variety of social media channels.
Passion for running & physical activity is a plus, as well as working for a fast-paced and growing brand!
Strong understanding of running coaching and the reasons why individuals would want to work with a 1-2-1 coach and/or trail running would be ideal.
