Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Quantity Surveyor role located in Tilbury. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for tasks such as cost control, bill of quantities (BOQ), cost management, cost planning, and cost reporting.
Key Responsibilities
* Full commercial management of projects from pre-construction through final account
* Prepare and manage cost plans, cashflows, and CVRs
* Lead subcontractor procurement and contract administration
* Liaise closely with site teams, design consultants, and clients
* Ensure compliance with JCT contracts and company processes
* Support project valuations, variations, and claims
* Contribute to value engineering and risk management initiatives
About You
* Minimum 7 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying (main contractor or specialist fit-out/refurb background preferred)
* You will hold the relevant quantity surveying and/or equivalent industry qualifications and hold recognised professional body accreditation or working towards (RICS, CIPS, CIOB or equivalent).
* Strong knowledge of JCT contracts, procurement, and cost control
* Experience on refurbishment, or high-spec airport/ transport/resi schemes
* Highly organised, commercially astute, and confident client-facing
* HNC/Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
