Summary The Anesthesiologist Assistant assists the anesthesiologist and cares for patients before, during and after procedures. This position functions as the extension of the physician and are responsible for performing critical measures to maintain the safety of the patient to ensure optimal outcomes. Minimum Education Master of Science Anesthesia or Master of Medical Science. Required Licenses/Certifications Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant NCCAA Licensed in the State of Vermont. BLS Certification through American Heart Association. Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills required to deal with patients from diverse socio-economic backgrounds. Basic Microsoft desktop application and navigation skills.
