We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to support our Innovation and Customer Insights team. The successful candidate will assist in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data related to customer behavior, market trends, and emerging innovations. This role will play a key part in supporting product development, service improvement, and strategic decision-making to enhance customer experience and drive business growth. We are looking for someone who enjoys variety in their role, is keen to learn and to provide much needed support to an established team as no experience is needed. Key Responsibilities: Innovation Research Support the design and execution of innovation research projects, including concept testing, market analysis, and trend tracking. Identify and evaluate emerging technologies, consumer trends, and competitive activities that could impact the organization’s innovation strategy. Assist in preparing business cases, feasibility studies, and innovation proposals. Customer Insights Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data from surveys, interviews, focus groups, and customer feedback tools. Translate research findings into actionable insights to improve customer satisfaction and engagement. Support the development of customer personas and journey maps. Data Analysis & Reporting Compile, clean, and interpret large datasets to uncover patterns and insights. Prepare detailed research reports, presentations, and dashboards for internal stakeholders. Use data visualization tools (e.g words, Excel) to present findings clearly and effectively. Collaboration & Support Work closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product Development, and Strategy to align insights with business goals. Support the organization of innovation workshops, brainstorming sessions, and customer co-creation events. Assist with administrative and logistical tasks related to research projects. Qualifications and Skills: Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with data visualization tools. Excellent communication and report-writing skills. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Desirable: Experience in market research, Customer analytics, Administration Assistant, Personal Assistant, HR Assistant or innovation-related roles. Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
