We're looking for a confident HR Coordinator to join a dynamic HR team at a leading professional services firm. Based on site at the Guildford office with occasional travel to other offices, this role will pay £35k - £40k depending on experience.
In this exciting hybrid role, you'll drive recruitment across the business, manage graduate and work experience programmes, and deliver seamless HR operations. You'll work closely with the Director of People, providing advice to managers, supporting employee relations, and leading key HR projects. You'll also play a key part in onboarding, induction, appraisals, compliance, and HR database management.
You will lead and manage the firm's full recruitment cycle, including:
Building relationships with recruitment agencies
Writing, posting, and managing job advertisements (internal and external)
Screening applications and shortlisting candidates
Organising and conducting interviews and assessments
Preparing offer letters, contracts, and onboarding documentation
Conducting reference checks, eligibility to work checks, DBS and SRA checks
Delivering HR induction sessions for new starters
Managing internal onboarding processes including intranet updates, IT set-ups, and buddy allocation
Maintaining accurate recruitment records and diversity monitoring
HR Advisory and Operational Support:
Work alongside the Director of People to ensure compliance with employment legislation and best practice.
Provide day-to-day HR advice to Line Managers, promoting consistency in HR policy and process.
Attend firm offices when required to support and advise on HR-related matters.
Support grievance, disciplinary, and investigation meetings, taking minutes when needed.
Assist with the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures.

Solid HR generalist experience within a professional services environment (Legal, Financial Services, Accountancy, LLP - essential)
Qualifications: CIPD qualified (or equivalent)
Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Professional, approachable, and trustworthy, with excellent relationship-building skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Discretion and confidentiality are critical
Proficiency in HR software/databases and MS Office
