Job Summary
We are looking for an Engineering System IT Support to join our team and support the maintenance of our Engineering IT services, ensuring they remain operational, performant, and aligned with business and end-user needs.
In this role, reporting directly to the Engineering Systems IT Manager, you will contribute to managing deployment solutions, including building, testing, and debugging software packages, while efficiently resolving incidents, problems, and service requests related to installations, patching, and upgrades.
The Engineering System IT Support role is remote-based.
What a typical day looks like:
Maintain and support Engineering IT services, ensuring they remain operational, performant, and fit for purpose, meeting the needs of end usersSupport the management of deployment solutions, including building, testing, and debugging software packagesEfficiently manage and resolve tickets, including incidents, problems, and service requests related to installations, patching, and upgradesProactively ensure all end-user devices are fully patched and compliant with the latest approved software releasesAssist with technical support activities, as well as routine maintenance and administration tasksCollaborate with other IT teams to support shared server responsibilities and overall IT operationsContribute to the delivery of new and enhanced services as part of ongoing projectsSupport server-related tasks as assigned by the managerInstall software and maintain software portalsManage IT collections and system configurationsProvide hands-on support to end users by investigating and resolving IT-related issuesOccasionally support activities outside core business hours for major projects or system changesThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:
A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related fieldKnowledge of Autodesk applicationsHands-on experience with deployment and inventory tools (e.g. SCCM, PDQ)Strong knowledge of Windows environments (Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2019) and basic iOS knowledgeAbility to collaborate effectively within a multicultural and geographically distributed teamStrong verbal and written communication skills in EnglishWhat you’ll receive for the great work you provide:
