Responsibilities
:
1. Understand business objectives and help develop an event strategy that supports business goals
2. Manage high-touch events consistent with Morgan Private Bank brand standards
3. Excel in data and budget management, task prioritization, and operational efficiencies.
4. Familiar with key European cities, venues / vendors, as well as cultural nuances
5. Collaborate with other lines of business, to leverage cross-sell event opportunities
6. Influence stake holders to keep projects on track and in line with regional strategy
7. Negotiate with event venues and vendors to maximize budget allocations
8. Think strategically and problem solve by offering creative solutions with business acumen.
9. Multitask and work under tight deadlines with prompt and clear responses
10. Participate in frequent events team and business meetings, providing updates as needed
11. Demonstrate strong presentation skills
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:
12. A minimum of 4 years prior experience in event management related activities, with expertise fully dedicated to the events management field, rather than marketing or public relations.
13. Exemplary oral/writtenmunications and interpersonal skills
14. Solid project management experience
15. Extremely detailed oriented
16. Given the nature of the role, flexibility to work long hours, including weekends, and frequent travel will be necessary.
17. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint & SharePoint sites
18. Willingness to learn, always adapt and have a positive and professional attitude
19. Skilled at handling difficult personalities and able to liaise with senior management on a regular basis
20. Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to interact energetically and collaboratively with colleagues to achievemon goals.
21. Proficient in data analysis, with the ability to leverage data-driven insights for reporting and presenting event activities.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:
22. European language skills a plus
23. Prior experience in financial services desired
