The business partner, Exwold Technology Ltd are a progressive and growing contract chemical processing company based in Hartlepool. They specialise in formulation and processing for the crop protection and speciality chemicals markets. This position is initially for a 36-month fixed term contract. Although you will be employed by Teesside University you will be working at the business partner premises day to day.
The appointed candidate will have 20 days holiday (plus bank holidays) and access to a dedicated £6k training budget tailored towards their personal development. They will have access to industry leading technology and supervision from a leading academic research team from Teesside University.
This KTP aims to develop an AI-enabled digital twin platform that models, monitors, and optimises Exwold Technology Ltd's chemical manufacturing processes in real time to improve efficiency. The project will embed data analytics and predictive maintenance to reduce waste and enhance productivity.
Travel Requirements
As the Company has sites that are situated away from Public Transport, it will be the responsibility of the employee to ensure they can travel from the Main Head Quarter site of Exwold Technology Ltd at Brenda Road, Hartlepool (main place of work) to the below three alternative sites:
* Haverton Hill, Billingham
* Tofts Farm East Industrial Estate, Hartlepool
* Queens Meadow Industrial Estate (Hartlepool)
