Job Title: General Operative - Art Logistics & Production
Location: Clarendon Fine Art Operations Centre, Lichfield
Type: Full-time | On-site
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM / 8AM - 4:30PM

We are currently recruiting a General Operative to support both our inbound logistics and framing production teams. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with experience in warehousing, manufacturing, or production, who enjoys variety, teamwork, and working in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Receive, inspect, and process incoming artwork and materials
2. Accurately log and store goods, ensuring full stock traceability
3. Assist with loading, unloading, and warehouse organisation
4. Operate framing machinery and assist in frame production
5. Measure, cut, and assemble frame mouldings and components
6. Perform quality control checks on finished products
7. Wrap, pack, and prepare items for delivery
8. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace
9. Follow all company procedures, including Health & Safety protocols
What You’ll Bring:
10. Experience in warehousing, production, or assembly roles
11. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality work
12. Strong work ethic and a hands-on, can-do attitude
13. Basic IT skills and ability to use internal systems
14. Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
15. A team player mindset with good communication skills
16. Forklift Truck Licence (desirable but not essential)
17. Experience with tools or machinery (ideal but not required)
