Quality EngineerAn exciting opportunity has arisen to join our client, an industry leader in Northern Irelands manufacturing sector, based in Portadown.The successful Quality Engineer will collaborate closely with both production and engineering teams to ensure all products meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and performance.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure all products meet industry standards and customer requirementsOversee and conduct inspections and testing of components to ensure compliance with specificationsIdentify, document, and manage non-conformances, working closely with production teams to implement corrective actions and prevent recurrenceDrive continuous improvement initiatives within the quality department, focusing on enhancing product quality, process efficiency, and reducing wasteMaintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including inspection reports, quality records, and audit findings. Provide regular reports on quality performance to managementAct as a point of contact for customer quality issues, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining strong relationships with clientsEnsure all processes and products comply with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirementsEssential CriteriaPrevious relevant experience as a Quality Engineer in the manufacturing industry, ideally with experience in metallic componentsStrong understanding of quality assurance principles, inspection / SPC techniquesExcellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actionsHigh level of attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of qualityStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and liaise with customersSalary is dependant upon experience and in the region of £40-45k.For further information please email your CV through the link.By applying for this role you are consenting to Energis Recruitment holding your details for a period of 12 months to be considered for other roles.
