If the answer to the above questions is YES, then the Children's Unit and Paediatric Assessment Unit at Great Western Hospital in Swindon is the place for you! We are a 22-bed inpatient ward and an adjacent paediatric assessment unit, treating children aged from newborn to 18 years with a broad range of paediatric conditions including surgery, oncology, orthopaedics, and ENT. The unit is supported by a friendly, dedicated, and highly skilled medical team, and as a nurse associate, you will also benefit from the support of 14 Band 6 Sisters and an excellent team of staff nurses.
This is an exciting time for GWH as we are nearing the completion of our brand new Integrated Front Door Project, which includes a bespoke Children's Emergency Unit designed to provide better pathways for patients and new opportunities for staff.
