Shaw Healthcare is looking for a Chef to join our team at The Hawthorns in Evesham. Our team is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of our residents, providing the highest standard of care and service, treating residents like family.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Preparing, cooking, and serving meals promptly for residents and guests.
2. Providing a varied, culturally sensitive diet tailored to residents' needs.
3. Catering for celebrations and special events.
4. Ordering supplies within budget and company guidelines, using approved suppliers in the absence of the senior cook.
5. Maintaining accurate catering records in line with HACCP standards.
6. Participating in inspections by Environmental Health, care regulators, and local authorities.
7. Ensuring high hygiene standards in the kitchen, adhering to HACCP and COSHH guidelines.
8. Assisting in maintaining a safe and healthy working environment, following health and safety regulations.
9. Managing the Catering Team effectively.
Qualifications in catering are required.
