A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual with a passion for community services to join us as a Deputy Head of Clinical Services.
With operational responsibility for a defined portfolio of services we are looking for someone who has great communication skills, can manage their time and priorities independently and is able to demonstrate a sound background in both service development and the management of clinical services to join us.
The successful candidate will be expected to be visible, have experience in dealing with a range of operational issues and be a good team player. You will be joining us at an exciting time as we strive to develop our services further and look at how we can deliver even better care by working across normal organisational boundaries.
Applications will be considered from individuals who do not have a clinical qualification if they are able to demonstrate significant clinical service management experience.
Responsibilities
* To provide senior leadership oversight to a defined portfolio of services
* Provide leadership, support, supervision, appraisal, performance management to teams and Team Managers
* Contribute to Trustwide projects and lead on projects relevant to own service area
* To be responsible for the provision of safe and effective services
* To work collaboratively with other leaders to support and influence the strategic development of services using an indepth knowledge of the service
* Use data to support decision making
* Ensure that services are delivered within their financial envelope and remain within budget
* Participate in the on call rota
