We are advertising for a Project Worker to work weekend shifts at our Young Parents’ Accommodation in Blackburn which provides a high standard of housing management that delivers a safe and supported environment for young parents and their babies. The role involves supporting young parents to look after the health and development of themselves and their babies, as well as working positively with other professionals. You will provide excellent customer service, working with the young parents in a strengths-based way to support them to achieve their goals and help support them to move into their own independent tenancies. The Project Worker will provide a warm, caring and welcoming environment, be able to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences, including children, young people and colleagues. You will be self motivated and be able to work alone. Additionally, you will provide high quality housing management ensuring the safety and security of the building and its residents. An NVQ2 in Health & Social Care (Adults) or similar qualification or equivalent education or work experience is essential. The shifts would be: 18.75 PER WEEK BASED ON A 2 WEEK WORKING PATTERN Week 1: 2:30pm until 10pm, Friday, Saturday and Sunday (22.5 hours) Week 2: 2:30pm until 10pm Saturday and 7:30am until 3pm Sunday (15 hours) If this sounds like the next step you are looking for and you would like to work with an organisation passionate about transforming lives, we would love to hear from you!
