SEN Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support - EYFS)
Location: BB5 (Accrington)
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm (includes 30-minute lunch break)
We are looking for a caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child with autism within an EYFS setting in Accrington. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a child's early development.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a child with autism
2. Support learning, communication, and emotional regulation
3. Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCo
4. Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
5. Track and report on progress
Requirements:
6. Experience supporting children with SEN, particularly autism
7. A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach
8. Strong communication and teamwork skills
9. EYFS knowledge (desirable)
