The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and ensuring compliance with UK tax regulations and statutory requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and submit: Self-assessment tax returnsCorporation tax returnsVAT returnsManage client payroll accurately and within deadlinesEnsure compliance with HMRC and Companies House regulationsMaintain and manage accounting records using: SageQuickBooksXeroProvide general accounting support, guidance, and advice to clientsHandle bookkeeping and financial reporting tasks across multiple client accountsRequirementsMinimum AAT qualification (ACCA qualified or part-qualified preferred)Proficiency in Sage, QuickBooks, and XeroStrong knowledge of UK tax regulations and accounting standardsExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple client accountsDesirable SkillsPrevious experience working in an accountancy practiceFamiliarity with additional accounting softwareExperience RequiredAt least 1 year of experience in: Self-assessment tax returnsVAT returnsPayrollBookkeepingAccounts preparation and corporation tax returnsAdditional RequirementsFluent in EnglishAAT/ACCA certification requiredAbility to reliably commute to Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire or relocate prior to startingJob DetailsJob Type: Full-timeWorking Pattern: In-personBenefits: FlexitimeRobert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
