Year 6 Teacher Responsibilities
1. Providing pastoral care for children entering Key Stage 2, promoting teamwork, and cultivating a positive learning environment.
2. Teaching the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children, focusing on individual learning targets, strengths, and areas for improvement.
3. Monitoring children's progress and reporting back to parents as needed.
Year 6 Teacher Requirements
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or equivalent.
2. Experience teaching Year 6 students and preparing them for SATs exams.
3. Proven ability to deliver high-quality lessons and achieve excellent academic results.
4. Strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment methodologies.
5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
6. Patience, resilience, and a passion for teaching.
7. Willingness to collaborate with colleagues.
