Due to an expanding portfolio of prestigious commissions, we are seeking a Senior Cabinet Maker to take a leadership role in our workshop. This is an exciting opportunity to work on some of the most remarkable bespoke interiors in the country while guiding and inspiring a team of skilled makers.

The Role
As a Senior Cabinet Maker, you will:
* Lead and supervise a small team of cabinet makers, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards.
* Mentor junior makers, sharing your knowledge of fine craftsmanship and advanced techniques.
* Take responsibility for interpreting technical drawings and planning work schedules.
* Oversee quality control, ensuring every piece leaving the workshop meets Atelier's uncompromising standards.
* Work hands-on to craft complex bespoke furniture and cabinetry using both traditional techniques and modern machinery.
* Collaborate with designers, project managers, and fellow artisans to bring prestigious projects to life.
Skills & Experience Required
Essential:
* Time-served, highly skilled cabinet maker with extensive workshop experience.
* Strong leadership or supervisory experience within a furniture-making or joinery workshop.
* Ability to work confidently from technical drawings and manage project timelines.
* Exceptional attention to detail and quality, with the ability to resolve issues proactively.
* Excellent communication and team-working skills.
Desirable:
* Experience in veneering, finishing, and machining techniques.
* CNC programming and operation knowledge.
* Full UK driving licence.
Working Hours
* Monday–Thursday: 07:15am – 5:00pm
* Friday: 07:15am – 1:15pm (42 hours per week)
* Regular overtime available, paid at 1.5x basic rate.
