OVERVIEW
Park Holidays is seeking a proactive and detail:oriented People Services Advisor to join our People Team at our head office in Bexhill. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for HR who is looking to build a career in areas such as employee relations, people partnering or recruitment. As a People Services Advisor, you will provide essential support to both our People Team and Park colleagues, ensuring that our people processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands:on experience as a people team generalist, with the potential for career growth and development.
JOB DUTIES
:Act as the first point of contact for employee queries, handling concerns, and providing initial advice on our people policies and processes in line with company policies and UK employment laws.
:Conduct reference checks for both new joiners and former team members to verify employment details and compliance with company standards.
:Maintain accurate filing and organisation of personnel documents, ensuring all records are up:to:date and in line with company policies.
:Perform right to work checks for all new employees, ensuring compliance with immigration and employment regulations.
:Assist with all aspects of the onboarding process, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for new team members.
:Manage and process DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks for relevant team members, ensuring compliance with safeguarding requirements.
:Collaborate with the People Team on various projects aimed at improving processes, implementing new systems, and contributing to the evolution of HR operations.
:Review and approve people data submissions entered by Park Teams into the HRIS, ensuring accuracy and completeness of team member data.
REQUIREMENTS
:Previous experience in an HR role is preferred, but not essential for the right candidate with a strong desire to learn.
:Excellent written, phone, and face:to:face communication skills. You will primarily manage a high volume of People Team tickets with a lower frequency of calls.
:Ability to organise and prioritise tasks efficiently, while managing multiple activities simultaneously with flexibility.
:Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
:Experience of SAP SuccessFactors would be an advantage.
:Previous experience or knowledge of the holiday park industry would be an advantage.
:Clear understanding of and commitment to maintaining company confidentiality at all times.
:Ability to work independently, take initiative, and demonstrate high levels of integrity in all aspects of the role.
