More about your role
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded Accountant (fully qualified or capable through experience) seeking an analytical role supporting financial and operational performance. You will provide comprehensive planning and budgeting services for our organization.
You will work closely with the Head of Finance and Finance Director of Developments to offer commercial support on various development and business decisions by:
1. Contributing to the development and maintenance of financial models to assess key performance metrics of Group investment and development decisions, including impacts on cash flow, borrowing, regulatory compliance, and financial statements.
2. Collaborating with Development and Group Finance teams, Development Managers, and Directors to understand project scopes, gather information, and challenge assumptions.
3. Presenting and explaining financial performance reports and advising on how to improve project returns while managing risks.
You will oversee, analyze, and evaluate project data to maximize cash flows and returns, supporting various scenarios and options with advanced models.

More about you
We are seeking a qualified Accountant (/ACA/FCA/ACCA/CA/IMA). You should enjoy a role that combines daily reporting, project work, and collaboration with the Finance team. Being a natural multi-tasker is essential.
Advanced Excel skills are required, especially in complex spreadsheet modeling with large data sets. Experience in a large, matrixed organization, preferably within housebuilding, is preferred. Demonstrated process improvements that increased efficiency are highly valued. Good stakeholder management skills are also essential, as the role involves interaction across the wider business.
